Laura Crookston Deleot is the owner and creative director of Crookston Design, a full service graphic design studio located in Nashville,
Tennessee. Prior to opening Crookston Design, Laura worked in the design industry in Atlanta, New York and San Francisco. Specializing in
publishing design her experience includes extensive work in both book and magazine publishing beginning with the design launch for the magazine
Real Simple while working at the Valentine Group in New York City. After New York she moved to San Francisco working as Senior Designer
in the gift division of Chronicle Books. She managed the design and art direction of such lines as Bad Girls, Anne Taintor, City Walks and Lotta
Jansdotter. Crookston Design continues to do contract work with Chronicle Books as well as manage the entire design, layout and production of the bi-monthly music magazine
American Songwriter. Other clients include a variety of companies such as real estate developers, local boutiques and restaurants, hotels, furniture companies, start ups, and companies within the music industry.
